WALT find the area of a shape in  square centimetres.


We explored shapes by covering them with square centimeter cubes and counting how many cubes it took to cover the shape.

We then drew shapes on grid paper and counted how many squares our shapes covered.

it was easy to work out how much was in the 100 and 50 column

We created this to help celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori (Maori language week)

We created this by taking a video on the little puppets movies.then we took any background noises and recorded our voices saying the Te Reo Maori for the fairy tale. We then added titles to show the English translation and who made the video.

Next time I want to say the Maori language better .What me and my group did better  is at the puppets and the camera.

Why is it important to plant trees.

I will explain why it is important to plant trees.

Trees give us wood. 

So that we can build shelter for people and animals so that we can stay warm. 

So there is food for animals like berries and lots of other fruit.

 Trees give us oxygen.

They breathe all of the carbon dioxcide and give us a new oxygen so that we can stay alive and we can breathe.If there was no trees we wouldn't be able to breathe.

 Trees give us paper we need paper so that we can write answers if you don’t know them and if you know them.

That is why we should plant trees. 

Reflection: Writing the paragraphs was hard.  Voice typing was fun and easy.

 It was wonderful to have Tuatara come in and help us with Google Drawings.  It was hard to put the information into our own words.  Google drawings was sometimes frustrating!

All About Me!!

I remember when I was 3 or 4 Tyrell cut my hair and my ear. I screamed as loud as I could and dad came running into the room I had to go to the hospital, when I got home I had to put on a bandage .

Jesse make me laugh because he runs around the tramp and screams as loud as he can and our dogs come running and barking and my mum and nana growl the dogs.

I love animals because they are so much fun to play with and they are funny too.

A fun fact about me is that I am an aunty.
